1. Information we collect

ranzo.live uses Google OAuth for authentication. We receive your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile image. You may add a public username, bio, languages and country to your profile. We do not store your Google password.

2. Video and face effects

Camera and microphone access is requested only when you start a video call. Face landmark processing for effects runs locally in your browser by default. Video and audio are transmitted peer-to-peer over WebRTC. We do not record calls by default.

3. Messages and social features

Messages, friend requests, rooms, posts and notifications are stored in our PostgreSQL database so the service can deliver them across your sessions. Do not share sensitive information with strangers.

4. Cookies and sessions

Secure, HttpOnly session cookies keep you signed in. We use Redis for short-lived matchmaking, presence and rate-limiting state.

5. Your choices

You can edit or delete your account from account settings. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Contact the operator of this deployment for data requests.

This policy must be reviewed and adapted by the site operator for the jurisdiction in which ranzo.live is offered.
